Late-Breaking Program News Earn 25 Percent Bonus Points when Transferring Hotel Points to British Airways Avios
(Posted: May 29, 2012)

Through June 20, 2012, British Airways Executive Club members will receive 25 percent bonus points when transferring hotel points with Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Carlson, Starwood, Hyatt, Shangri-La and Accor into Avios.

For Club Carlson members who are participating in the Big Night Giveaway, you can redeem for a short flight after one hotel stay.

For example, 50,000 Club Carlson points transfer into 8,000 Avios points. With the 2,000-mile bonus, members would receive 10,000 Avios points, which is enough points for a roundtrip, non-stop short-haul flight, such as a flight between New York City and Detroit for 9,000 points.

And a reminder that Club Carlson members can earn 50,000 miles for a one-night stay at Radisson before July 15, 2012 for the first 100,000 registrants and 44,000 bonus points for a one-night stay at Park Inn by July 22, 2012 if you are one of the first 20,000 to register. Country Inns and Suites by Carlson is also offering 44,000 bonus points to the first 35,000 people to register, which has already been reached. If you weren't one of the first 35,000, you will only receive 15,000 bonus points per stay.
